Welcome to the Dunlop Munnelly Academy of Irish Dancing

Established 15 years ago, and based in Aldershot, Farnborough & Reading, the Dunlop Munnelly Academy of Irish Dancing has pupils ranging from 3 years old to Adult, from beginners to the highest grade open dancers.

The Academy is run by Lynn Dunlop TCRG & Michael Munnelly TCRG along with Natalie Dunlop who is a trainee TCRG.

The school competes every 2/3 weeks throughout the year in competitions held at various different locations in Great Britain, the majority of which are held in and around London.

At least once a year the school travels to Ireland to compete, and has in the past travelled as far as Europe, Australia & the USA for international competitions.

Although the competitions play a big part in the dancers lives, they also like to dance just to entertain people so they take part in a large amount of exhibition work at local venues throughout the South of England, these include Wedding receptions, Fetes, Carnivals, various sorts of functions from Company dinner and dances to social club events and charity balls and galas, also dancing in shows, appearing regularly at the Princes Hall, Lakeside and have travelled to Germany and France on behalf of Rushmoor Borough Council. These events are open to all members of the academy from beginners to open dancers.

The school is available for private functions - weddings, birthdays, special events etc

The school can also be seen on a regular basis at the Madjeski Stadium providing half time entertainment for London Irish rugby matches ( www.london-irish.com ).
